Important information

Location Portrait Sessions

Interested in a location shoot? Amazing! I cannot wait to work with you!

Here are some important things to know about your session.

You don't need to be concerned if your dog needs to be on a lead throughout the session. This is very common, so don't stress! I do kindly request that your dog does not wear a harness, as this will not be possible to remove in post production. Please also be mindful of lead and collar choice. Subtle colouring is best, unless it is something that you are happy to have in your images.

Although my family sessions are designed for 1 pet and 2 family members, I am always happy to discuss any additions you may want, so please let me know!

I kindly request that there be no more than two dogs if you would like to add another to your single session. Please ensure that your dogs are known to each other and must have at least two handlers that are known to your dogs.

I am all about safety and patience. If the weather is too hot or unsuitable, we may have to reschedule at no cost to you. I am very much guided by you and your pet, I will never encourage you to force your dog to do things they are uncomfortable with.

Studio Portrait Sessions

Thinking of a studio session? Time in the studio is so much fun. Here are a few things for you to know about your session.

First of all, is a studio session right for your dog? Most dogs adapt beautifully to the studio environment and have a wonderful experience. The space is calm, quiet, and designed to keep pets comfortable throughout the session.

That said, every dog is different. Studio photography does involve unfamiliar surroundings, lighting equipment and new sounds. If your dog is generally relaxed around new environments and people, they will likely settle in quickly. For dogs that are particularly anxious, or easily overwhelmed, an outdoor session may be a more comfortable option.

My priority will always be your pets wellbeing. If you're unsure of if a studio session is the right fit, feel free to get in touch and we can talk about the best option for your pet.

I encourage any dog's coming into the studio to go for a little walk beforehand, just to help them feel more settled. Bringing a few of your dogs favourite treats or a special toy can also make a big difference. These help keep their attention, and make the experience fun and rewarding for them.

Please, do not worry too much if your dog needs to stay on a lead, we have leads in the studio that are lightweight and comfortable.

Please also note that I ask that you provide the food treats for your dog, due to any allergies, sensitive tummies etc. It's the best way to be safe.

If you are interested in having two dogs in the studio, please be aware that they must be known to one another and that there be at least two handlers present.
